happpy friday everyone!
wahhh seriously, after last weeks rant i actually might have something positive to say!
after starting off the week with a round of tonisillitis without tonsils (weird huh?) i am now on penecillin and am turning into part of the library furniture!
sooo my tan might not be as great as everyone elses this week, well jel! but i have written-ish my 3000 word essay and am half way through my dissertation!
never thought i'd actually imagine being able to say those words, not quite so quickly anyway, so i'm pretty chuffed with myself and will actually be able to go home for easter on monday and RELAX. well a little bit anyway!
not before a night out in newquay on sat (gonna be interesting?!) for my mate's mate's 21st (any excuse really). one of my last visits there was eventful to say the least - so goodness knows what could happen.
also got offered work experience at a magazine for a couple of weeks over summer, so this is also super exciting news too!
it seems that i am finally actually putting my crazy life back together.
or at least taking advice from this print that seems to be getting me through most days.

epic fail

last day of term, and today was meant to be my last seminar. but i missed it due to overindulging in far too many alcoholic beverages last night. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
i think i was celebrating far too much for geography who handed their dissertations in.
mine however is not until may, and considering i haven't even started properly i should have been in the library today, and definitely not in bed!
anyway, serious library times starts tomorrow. i mustmustmust do some work, and having to stay stuck in this big massive house when everyone else has gone home for easter sucks. so the sooner i do something, the sooner i can go home to a warm house, a full fridge and my lovely fam.
my sister failed her driving test for the second time yesterday and is gutted, so i would much rather be at home and be of some help in her frustration?!
also i have no money (end of term) and so anything involving fun clothes is out of the window.
SOZ RANT OVER.
on the plus side, i am trying to improve my CV as it's pretty lame atm, so that i can start applying for work experience and internships over summer. wahooo there is life after uni.
any standout tips on how i can get a shithot CV?!

typicallllly, seeing as i have been in the library for the last 6 days, vomlettes, the minute i hand my dissa portfolio in and #BOOM comes the rainclouds, when it's been like 20 degrees glrious sunshine no end.
bahh well. we're still off to the beach to embrace the freedom and enjoy a redstripe.

went for lunch at bills in lewes and shared a fish finger sandwich and a mezze salad plate.
amaaaazing.
i advise you to get there asap (there's also one in brighton).
pink lemonade and eggs royale are also my favourites.
now for brighton tomorrow...

hope everyone's having a lovely, chilled out sunday. been a glorious day in kernow (abit on the windy side) but the sun didn't stop shining!
just finishing off the end of my essay, or trying. today's distractions included more rugby, lonely island (hilar!) and reminiscing about party snacks so much that we had to go out and buy pineapple chunks, cheese, cocktail sausages, mini scotch eggs and party rings.
now for jelly and ice cream!
tomorrow = GYM BLEUGH.

helllllo how is everyone?!

aware i've never been the best (understatement much) at blogging, but small space of the internet is still very, very small. unfortunately, this is what being a final year english student does to me.
or more likely the fact that i turned 21 at the beginning of feb meant that i have done no work/blogging/anything tbh!

but rather than continue writing the essay that i should be finishing (in for monday) i thought i would share with you my birthday presents!! i'm not much of a jewellry person, but i'm a massive fan of watches, the bigger the better and i absolutely love my new michael kors watch. i literally can't take it off. except when i go out, coz then i'm so para i'm going to lose it. break it. take it off to show someone and they'll run away with it kinda thing.
secondly, i randomly opted for this topshop shearly coat, i'd been looking for a vintage one forever and when i saw this in the london store it was exactly what i'd been looking for and so used my birthday money wisely! love love love. wear it to uni pretty much everyday and it's sooo warm which is ideal for the miserable, grey cornish weather.
saying that, today is super sunny and my hangover is just about gone...

vimtos are a killer, the port has been hanging about all day bleugh!

anyway, happy saturday everyone. i'm going to go watch the rugby. the joys of procrastination and hot french men in shorts... bonjour indeedx
